Bethany Lutheran Church

Welcome to Bethany Lutheran Church!

“Six days before the Passover, Jesus arrived at Bethany, where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. ┬áHere a dinner was given in Jesus’ honor. ┬áMartha served, while Lazarus was among those reclining at the table with him” (John 12:1-2).

Greetings in the name of Jesus of Nazareth!

Bethany Lutheran Church. A quiet church in Leesburg. Home to born again….compassionate…dinner serving followers of Jesus. Our home away from home. Would you consider making Bethany your home away from home?

We invite you to come and recline with Jesus. Come and sit with His followers. We’ll share our love…our compassion…our food. No dress code. No hard sale. Just quiet Christians who live for Jesus.

We do everything in His honor. We listen to Him. We’ll listen to you. We love Him. We love you. He inspires us to care. We’ll care for you.

Jesus went to Bethany for peace…quiet…fellowship…and good food. Are you looking for a Bethany? Here it is…Bethany Lutheran Church!

O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire...(Matthew 15:28)

Did He ever speak like this to anyone else who came to Him in need? We almost wonder who this man is. Certainly not our Jesus! He ignores her; she hangs on. He refuses her; she hangs on. He calls her a dog; she hangs on. She will not let go of her faith in Him and in His mercy. She hangs on to His deep and hidden "yes" and is not disappointed.
