Bethany Lutheran Church

Welcome to Bethany Lutheran Church!

“Six days before the Passover, Jesus arrived at Bethany, where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. ┬áHere a dinner was given in Jesus’ honor. ┬áMartha served, while Lazarus was among those reclining at the table with him” (John 12:1-2).

Greetings in the name of Jesus of Nazareth!

Bethany Lutheran Church. A quiet church in Leesburg. Home to born again….compassionate…dinner serving followers of Jesus. Our home away from home. Would you consider making Bethany your home away from home?

We invite you to come and recline with Jesus. Come and sit with His followers. We’ll share our love…our compassion…our food. No dress code. No hard sale. Just quiet Christians who live for Jesus.

We do everything in His honor. We listen to Him. We’ll listen to you. We love Him. We love you. He inspires us to care. We’ll care for you.

Jesus went to Bethany for peace…quiet…fellowship…and good food. Are you looking for a Bethany? Here it is…Bethany Lutheran Church!

If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed

The Lutheran Reformation was about freedom: You are free from the burden of trying to win God over to your side by being a better person (and knowing you never can). You are free from the insecurity of being a slave who never knows if he has a place in the home. You are free to live in certain joy as a beloved child of your heavenly Father through Baptism into Christ.

"Keep It Simple and Straightforward"
The Bible's message is simple and straightforward: the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ, our Lord.
