Bethany Lutheran Church

Welcome to Bethany Lutheran Church!

“Six days before the Passover, Jesus arrived at Bethany, where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. ┬áHere a dinner was given in Jesus’ honor. ┬áMartha served, while Lazarus was among those reclining at the table with him” (John 12:1-2).

Greetings in the name of Jesus of Nazareth!

Bethany Lutheran Church. A quiet church in Leesburg. Home to born again….compassionate…dinner serving followers of Jesus. Our home away from home. Would you consider making Bethany your home away from home?

We invite you to come and recline with Jesus. Come and sit with His followers. We’ll share our love…our compassion…our food. No dress code. No hard sale. Just quiet Christians who live for Jesus.

We do everything in His honor. We listen to Him. We’ll listen to you. We love Him. We love you. He inspires us to care. We’ll care for you.

Jesus went to Bethany for peace…quiet…fellowship…and good food. Are you looking for a Bethany? Here it is…Bethany Lutheran Church!

Again the Kingdom of Heaven is like... (Matthew 13:45)

"There are only two kinds of people in this world"...begins many a joke. But today's Gospel shows the truth of this: you are either wheat or weed, a child of the Kingdom or a son of the evil one. Truth is that by nature, we're all sons of the evil one. And only by grace is anyone a child of the Kingdom. In His Word, Christ extends this grace to all.
