Bethany Lutheran Church
  • "The unthankful heart discovers no mercies; but the thankful heart will find in every hour, some heavenly blessing." -- Henry Ward Beecher

Welcome to Bethany Lutheran Church!

“Six days before the Passover, Jesus arrived at Bethany, where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. ┬áHere a dinner was given in Jesus’ honor. ┬áMartha served, while Lazarus was among those reclining at the table with him” (John 12:1-2).

Greetings in the name of Jesus of Nazareth!

Bethany Lutheran Church. A quiet church in Leesburg. Home to born again….compassionate…dinner serving followers of Jesus. Our home away from home. Would you consider making Bethany your home away from home?

We invite you to come and recline with Jesus. Come and sit with His followers. We’ll share our love…our compassion…our food. No dress code. No hard sale. Just quiet Christians who live for Jesus.

We do everything in His honor. We listen to Him. We’ll listen to you. We love Him. We love you. He inspires us to care. We’ll care for you.

Jesus went to Bethany for peace…quiet…fellowship…and good food. Are you looking for a Bethany? Here it is…Bethany Lutheran Church!

His Fame Spread Everywhere...Mark 1:28

"His fame spread everywhere" (Mark 1:28). Throughout the region of Galilee, people were talking to one another about Jesus, His teaching, His power. How truly Paul would later remind Agrippa: "This has not been done in a corner." (Acts:26:26). During Epiphany, we remember that it is our joyous duty to continue to spread the fame of Jesus' words and deeds until there is no place where He is unknown.
