Bethany Lutheran Church
  • Unless you have Christmas in your heart, you won't find it under a Christmas tree. Joy is not in things; it is in us." ---Richard Wagner

Welcome to Bethany Lutheran Church!

“Six days before the Passover, Jesus arrived at Bethany, where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. ┬áHere a dinner was given in Jesus’ honor. ┬áMartha served, while Lazarus was among those reclining at the table with him” (John 12:1-2).

Greetings in the name of Jesus of Nazareth!

Bethany Lutheran Church. A quiet church in Leesburg. Home to born again….compassionate…dinner serving followers of Jesus. Our home away from home. Would you consider making Bethany your home away from home?

We invite you to come and recline with Jesus. Come and sit with His followers. We’ll share our love…our compassion…our food. No dress code. No hard sale. Just quiet Christians who live for Jesus.

We do everything in His honor. We listen to Him. We’ll listen to you. We love Him. We love you. He inspires us to care. We’ll care for you.

Jesus went to Bethany for peace…quiet…fellowship…and good food. Are you looking for a Bethany? Here it is…Bethany Lutheran Church!

Give life to the world

Born in Bethlehem, which means "house of bread," Jesus reveals Himself to be the living bread from heaven. The manna sustained the Israelites for a little while in their pilgrimage, but Jesus has come to be the bread that "gives life to the world," offered up in love on the cross, so that by eating of Him in faith, we might not die but live forever.
