Bethany Lutheran Church
  • "Where man sees withered leaves, God sees sweet flowers growing" - Albert Laighton

Welcome to Bethany Lutheran Church!

“Six days before the Passover, Jesus arrived at Bethany, where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. ┬áHere a dinner was given in Jesus’ honor. ┬áMartha served, while Lazarus was among those reclining at the table with him” (John 12:1-2).

Greetings in the name of Jesus of Nazareth!

Bethany Lutheran Church. A quiet church in Leesburg. Home to born again….compassionate…dinner serving followers of Jesus. Our home away from home. Would you consider making Bethany your home away from home?

We invite you to come and recline with Jesus. Come and sit with His followers. We’ll share our love…our compassion…our food. No dress code. No hard sale. Just quiet Christians who live for Jesus.

We do everything in His honor. We listen to Him. We’ll listen to you. We love Him. We love you. He inspires us to care. We’ll care for you.

Jesus went to Bethany for peace…quiet…fellowship…and good food. Are you looking for a Bethany? Here it is…Bethany Lutheran Church!

The Spirit of truth...John 15:26

Jesus calls the Helper, the Holy Spirit, "the Spirit of truth." That is, the Holy Spirit is the One Jesus sends to His own from the Father to bear witness about Jesus, who is the truth Himself. The Spirit guides into all the truth because He takes all that belongs to Jesus and declares it to be our very own in Him. We come to faith only through the Spirit.
