Bethany is a place where you matter to God and to us, existing to glorify the Holy Trinity, to administer the sacraments, to teach and preach the gospel in all its purity, to grow in our relationship to God.
Special Ascension Day Service
Please mark your calendars for Thursday, May 14 5:30pm. We will be having a special Ascension Day worship Service. Ascension Day also turns our hearts forward in hope. The angels told the disciples that this same Jesus, who was taken up into heaven, will come again. So, this not only reminds us where Christ is now, but also points us to the promise of His glorious return. In a world so often marked by uncertainty, fear, and trouble, Ascension Day calls us to lift up our hearts and fix our eyes on the risen and reigning (and returning!) Lord.
